END OF
CRUDE OIL

Energy literacy.
Beyond the barrel.

ABOUT / OUR EDITORIAL PURPOSE

Clarity before
certainty.

An independent starting point for understanding an energy system in transition.

A new publication, not a recovered archive

End of Crude Oil is a new English-language informational publication under current independent ownership. It is not an archive, revival or continuation of any previous website or operator associated with endofcrudeoil.com. Any earlier identity, claims or content on this domain should not be attributed to this publication.

What the name means

“End of Crude Oil” is a lens for examining dependence, not a prediction that petroleum will disappear on a particular date. We focus on the practical connections between resources, equipment, infrastructure and the services people need. Understanding those connections is more useful than treating transition as a single event.

How to read these guides

Our guides are original introductory explanations designed for general readers. They distinguish energy from electricity, efficiency from total demand, and scenarios from observations. They are not technical specifications, personalized recommendations or investment advice. We do not offer commodity-price forecasts or pretend that one technology fits every application.

Links to organizations such as the U.S. Energy Information Administration, the International Energy Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy provide starting points for further reading. They do not imply affiliation, endorsement or live verification of every linked page. Consult the original source’s definitions, dates and methodology when using its data.

A deliberately quiet reading experience

This website uses locally stored design assets and does not offer accounts, signups or submission forms. There are no embedded social feeds or advertising widgets in these pages. Hosting and routing infrastructure may still process visit information; our privacy notice explains the distinction.
